December 8th 2020: . SAF€RA has published its sixth joint call, on the topic Industrial safety in the context of pandemics and exponential change. This will be a “fast-track” call using a single stage (no preproposals), with proposals expected before March 30th 2021 and funding decisions transmitted to applicants at the end of May 2021. Approximately 1.2M€ in funding is available from SAF€RA partners in this call. Details on the call website.

November 2020: Upcoming fast-track call on industrial safety in the context of pandemics and exponential change. In the first week of December, SAF€RA will be launching a “fast-track” single-stage call on two topics:

Lessons learned and capacity building for resilient response
Nanostructured materials in PPE and filtration devices

May 2020: second Covid-19 webinar. SAF€RA’s second webinar in this series concerned Nano-sized materials in antimicrobial protective clothing. See the slides and video recording, or visit SAF€RA’s new YouTube channel.

April 2020: Covid-19 webinar series. SAF€RA has organized a series of webinars concerning the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on health and safety at work. The first webinar was organized on April 29^th, with two presentations. The slides and video recording are available online.

March 2020: Some statistics concerning SAF€RA’s 2020 joint call: Four full proposals have been sent by applicants, and are in the evaluation process. They represent a total budgetary request of 1.7 M€ total budget, from approx. 1.54 M€ available from funders.

No SAF€RA symposium in 2020: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, SAF€RA will not organize a symposium in 2020.
