SAF€RA’s Covid-19 webinar series

The Covid-19 pandemic is having major impacts on health and safety at work, on workplaces, on employment. There are many implications for our professional activities and the management and communication of risk.

SAF€RA has decided to organize a series of webinars where experts from different countries (institutes and companies) make brief presentations on their problems, strategies and emerging good practices relating to impacts on safety at work. There will be many challenges over the next weeks and months as countries and companies develop their deconfinement plans and try to strike the balance between restarting economic activity and limiting health and safety impacts.

The second webinar in the series was organized on May 27th 2020, with a presentation on Nano-sized materials in antimicrobial protective clothing by Prof. Tung Pham from the Research Institute of Textile Chemistry and Textile Physics at the University of Innsbruck (Austria). The presentation slides are available in PDF format.

A recording of the webinar can be viewed below (duration: 45 minutes). It’s also available on SAF€RA’s YouTube channel.

The first webinar in the series was organized on April 29th 2020 and included two short presentations:

  • Novel procedure for “remote” verification and certification of repaired/modified pressure equipment
