10th SAF€RA Joint Call launched

🔔 SAF€RA has officially launched its 10th Joint Call for Research Proposals, focusing on: "Innovative solutions and technologies to improve safety of workers and emergency responders.”

This call supports applied research and innovation addressing industrial safety challenges and the protection of workers and first responders in hazardous environments.

📌 The 2026 call covers three research topics:

1️⃣ Robotics and innovative technologies and approaches to increase safety and reduce the exposure of workers and emergency responders

2️⃣ Understanding materials to improve safety and reduce the exposure of workers and emergency responders

3️⃣ Improving risk assessment and risk management practices using big-data, AI, and numerical modelling

📅 To support consortium building, an online brokerage event will take place on March 12, 2026 | 10:00–12:30 CET (SAVE THE DATE)

📅 Key dates

• Pre-proposal deadline: March 31, 2026 (16:00 CEST)

• Full proposal deadline: June 30, 2026 (16:00 CEST)
