SAF€RA Brokerage Event – Presentations and Recording Now Available

The SAF€RA Brokerage Event for the 10th Joint Call took place online on 12 March 2026, bringing together researchers, industry representatives, safety professionals and public organisations interested in collaborative research on industrial and occupational safety.
The event introduced the objectives and funding modalities of the 10th SAF€RA Joint Call, entitled:
“Innovative solutions and technologies to improve safety of workers and emergency responders.”
Participants had the opportunity to present project ideas and identify potential partners through a dedicated pitch session.
Among the ideas presented were proposals addressing:
multi-physics modelling of electrolytic membrane processes to improve the safety of electrochemical systems
toxicological assessment and regulatory safety evaluation of advanced materials
AI-based frameworks for real-time anomaly detection and risk mitigation in hydrogen technologies
drone-assisted inspection and hybrid modelling approaches for improving safety risk management at industrial sites.
The session also featured contributions from potential project partners and end-users, including the French National Firefighter Officers Academy (ENSOSP) and the Spanish Technology Platform on Industrial Safety (PESI).
